As part of the OCAT Nanjing Public Art Project 2019, Zhu Yingchun exhibited Bug Filmhouse alongside works from sixteen other contemporary artists including Yang Fudong 杨福东, Shi Jinsong 史金淞 and Catherine Opie to name a few. The annual public art project takes a new theme in each exhibition, this year exploring how humans can reconnect with traditional culture and nature amidst a rapidly changing modern world, so as to maintain the foundations of the human spirit.

Zhu Yingchun’s work Bug Filmhouse consists of a large ant hole made from earth in which is hidden a miniature screen showing a short film made about insects.
